How to restore purchases
Use Restore Purchases if you previously bought Streets Pro but access is missing after reinstalling the app, changing iPhone, or signing in again.
-
Check your Apple Account
Make sure your iPhone uses the same Apple Account that was used to buy Streets Pro. You can check it in iOS Settings under Media & Purchases.
-
Open the Pro screen
Open Streets, select the Profile tab, and tap the Upgrade to PRO card.
-
Restore the purchase
Scroll to the bottom of the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. Keep Streets open while Apple checks your purchase history.
-
Wait for confirmation
When Purchases restored appears, the Pro screen closes and your access becomes available again.
Restoring does not charge you again. It checks for an active subscription or eligible Lifetime purchase linked to the current Apple Account. If restoration fails, check your internet connection and Apple Account, reopen Streets, and try again. If Pro is still unavailable, email us and include the purchase type and approximate purchase date.
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about using Streets on iPhone.
How do I record a walk, run, or ride?
Open Streets and start a new route before you set off. Allow precise location access so the app can record your path. When you finish and save the activity, it will appear in route history and contribute to your street progress.
Will Streets keep tracking when my iPhone is locked?
Yes. An active route can continue recording in the background while Streets is minimized or the screen is locked. Keep precise and background location access enabled in iOS Settings for reliable tracking.
Why does part of my recorded route look inaccurate?
GPS accuracy can be affected by tall buildings, heavy tree cover, indoor spaces, or a weak satellite signal. Make sure Precise Location is enabled, start the route outdoors when possible, and check that Streets can use location in the background.
How does Streets mark a street as visited?
Streets matches your recorded path to nearby streets and adds newly discovered streets to your progress when you save the route. You can review visited and unvisited streets in the app.
Can I correct or delete a recorded route?
Yes. You can trim the beginning or end of a route if recording started too early or stopped too late. Routes and other supported local content can also be deleted from within the app.
Can I exclude a street from my progress?
Yes. Mark a road as skipped when you do not want it to count toward your exploration goal. Skipped streets remain separate from visited and unvisited streets.
How do backups work?
Your routes and progress are stored on your device. If you choose Sign in with Apple and create an account backup, Streets can upload a backup so you can restore supported data later. Account backup is optional.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions and purchases are managed by Apple. Open your Apple Account subscription settings on your iPhone to view, change, or cancel a Streets subscription.
What is the difference between Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime?
Monthly renews every month and Annual renews every year until canceled. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no recurring renewal. All three options unlock Streets Pro; current prices and purchase terms are shown by Apple before confirmation.
What should I include when reporting a problem?
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Streets app version, a short description of what happened, and the approximate route date. Screenshots and location context are also useful when relevant.
